Sweetwater ChristmasDowntown Sweetwater, Saturday following Thanksgiving. 423.337.6979
www.visitsweetwater.com/
This event is a “step back in time”  to a small town Christmas, even with artificial snow falling along the shops downtown. There are visits with Santa, horse drawn wagon rides, carolers, and a marshmallow roast. There is a Victorian costume contest and holiday treats are served at stores along Main Street. The quaint stores along Main Street are dressed in their finest old time Christmas decorations. The First Presbyterian Church gives away Bibles, Psalm books, nativity coloring books and candy canes. Most of the events are free but people are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy to benefit Sweetwater Police Department’s Christmas toy drive.
